Who we are: This website is owned and operated by YSSL Inc. (“Your Sweet Spot Life”), based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

At YSSL Inc., we are building resources for small and medium businesses. This website is currently informational only — to share our research, pillars (Hydro Lodge, S.T.A.R.Tbox, The Portal Post, Regional Hubs, #Sustain_Able), and governance progress.

1. What we do NOT collect on this website

We do not have user accounts, a checkout, a newsletter signup, or a contact form on this website. We do not ask you to submit personal information directly on the site.

2. What is collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider collects standard technical information to keep the site secure and functional. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited.

We may use basic website analytics (for example, Squarespace / Wix / WordPress analytics or Google Analytics, if enabled) to understand anonymous traffic — such as how many people visited, which pages were viewed, and general region. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

3. When you contact us

This site is informational, so the only way you share personal information is if you choose to contact us.

If you email us at hi@yoursweetspot.life or message us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or other social platforms, we receive the information you choose to include — such as your name, email address, social handle, and your message.

We use it only to respond to you, discuss collaboration, pilots, board service, or answer your questions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you explicitly ask us to.

We store your correspondence in our email and business systems for our records.

This site may use essential cookies necessary for security and site performance, and if analytics are enabled, analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. The site will still function if you do.

This site contains links to third-party sites and platforms, including institutional partners (Capella University, Northeastern University, George Brown, Mohawk College, etc.), GitHub repositories, and social media. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

We take reasonable steps to protect information you send us. Email is stored with our email provider with industry-standard security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose you contacted us about, or as required by law.

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent to us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as YSSL Inc. grows — for example, when the Hydro Lodge app, S.T.A.R.Tbox, or The Portal Post move from research into pilot and public use. We will post the new version here with an updated “Last Updated” date.
